Site Engineer – South Dublin
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer, for a large residential development project in South Dublin. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client has a position for a Site Engineer that has previous experience on working with groundworks, drainage, roads, utilities and earthworks.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into Site Management
- Carry out Setting Out and Surveying on site
- Regularly check the site drawings and specifications
- Be the point of contact for any technical queries
- Assist in managing direct staff, sub-contractors, and labourers
- Assist in coordinating and controlling plant, machinery and materials on site
- Be familiar with the company’s policies in regard to workmanship and ensure work is implemented to the highest level of quality
- Maintain up to date site diaries and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive site inductions
- Attend site meetings
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations
- Order in materials when neccessary
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 2 years’ plus experience
- Setting Out and Surveying experience
- Experience in groundworks, utilities, roads, drainage etc
- Able to work within a team and independently
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Full driving licence
