Site Engineer – England
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a Northern Irish Contractor on a project based in England. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client who is a specialist in the Civil Engineering industry with a vast amount of experience and knowledge.
The client requires the Site Engineer to complete surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Senior Engineer and Site Management
- Be responsible for overseeing structure activity and staff
- Complete Site Setting Out and Surveying
- Assist in management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
- Assist in management and control of plant and equipment
- Assist in management and control of health and safety issues
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented
- Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings and ensure compliance with both on site
- Keep up to date site diaries and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
- To undertake any other duties as allocated
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 1 plus years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Setting out and surveying knowledge
- Excellent Communicator
- Full driving licence
