Site Engineer – Northern Ireland

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Site Engineer for utility projects based in Belfast and further work throughout Northern Ireland. The client has over 20 years’ experience in Civil Engineering and have an excellent reputation amongst their clients for achieving consistent high-quality work on their projects.

The client is seeking a Site Engineer with experience on Setting Out and Surveying within utility and general civil projects.

 

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Regularly report into the Senior Management team
  • Check site specifications and drawings
  • Complete setting out and surveying on site
  • Be the point of contact for technical queries
  • Assist in managing sub-contractors, labour, Plant, Equipment and Machinery
  • Assist in coordinating site staff, ensuring they have clear directions on tasks needing to be completed
  • Adhere to Health & Safety on site
  • Adhere to the company’s quality regulations
  • Complete the site diary in relation to site progress
  • Conduct daily Toolbox talks
  • Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
  • Attend Site meetings

 

Site Engineer Specification:

  • Civil Engineer Degree
  • 2 years’ plus experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisational communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Experience in working on Utility projects
  • Full driving licence
  • Setting Out and Surveying knowledge
