Site Engineer – Northern Ireland

 

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Site Engineer, to complete civils projects in County Armagh, Tyrone and Antrim. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with an extensive amount of experience and knowledge in civil engineering industry. It is vital that the successful candidate has experience in Setting Out and Surveying, and working on groundworks, earthworks, drainage, roads and utility projects.

 

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Site Management
  • Handle all technical queries
  • Carry out daily Setting Out on site
  • Regularly check Site Drawings and Specifications
  • Assist in manging sub-contractors and direct staff
  • Assist in the coordination of Plant and Machinery
  • Comply with the company’s regulations and procedures regarding Health & Safety and Quality.
  • Complete the site diary, ensuring all relevant information is logged
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety Briefings
  • Ensuring all staff receive site inductions
  • Attend site meetings with the wider team
  • Traffic Management
  • Liaise with Clients / Public / Consultancies when neccessary
  • Order in materials when needed

 

Site Engineer Specification:

  • Civil Engineer Degree
  • 3 years plus experience
  • Experience in groundworks, earthworks, utilities, drainage etc
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Self-starter that has the ability to work independently
  • Setting Out experience
  • Motivated and Driven
  • Full driving licence
