Site Engineer – Donegal
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a substation in Donegal and further work in Scotland. The successful candidate will work with a highly reputable Civil Engineering Contractor with a number of live projects. The client is seeking a Site Engineer with experience in setting out and supervising site works. The successful candidate will need to be flexible in travel.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Project Manager
- Carry out Surveying and Setting Out
- Read and be familiar with the Site Specifications and Drawings
- Assist in managing the site teams, ensuring they have clear direction on tasks needing to be completed
- Be the contact for any technical queries
- Assist in the planning and coordination of Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Adhere to the company’s quality standards, ensuring all work is given full attention and effort
- Regular keep the Site Dairy and Site Paperwork maintained
- Attend and Conduct Toolbox talks and Health & Safety Briefings
- Ensure staff have site inductions
- Attend Site meetings with the wider site team
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1 years plus experience
- Surveying and Setting Out experience
- Motivated and driven
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Strong numeracy skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
