Site Engineer – Dublin
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer for civil works on residential projects in Dublin. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client has a position for a Site Engineer with knowledge and experience in setting out, working with groundworks, earthworks, utilities and concrete.
The contractor is able to offer the candidate the opportunity to work on multi-million sites and progress within the company.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into Senior Site Management
- Be the point of contact for technical queries
- Check and be familiar with the Site Drawings & Specifications
- Regularly carry out Setting Out and Surveying on site
- Coordinate Direct and Sub-contractor staff through clear communication on the duties needing to be completed
- Coordinate Plant & Machinery ensuring the equipment is appropriately used
- Comply with the company’s standards regarding quality
- Regularly complete site paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox talks
- Attend Health & Safety Briefings
- Attend Site Meetings
- Ensure staff receive full site inductions
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies
- Assist in managing Traffic on and off site
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1-3 years plus experience
- Setting Out and Surveying experience
- Previous experience working with groundworks, earthworks, concrete and utilities
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Full driving licence
- Strong numeracy and MS Office skills
