Site Engineer – Dublin

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer for civil works on residential projects in Dublin. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client has a position for a Site Engineer with knowledge and experience in setting out, working with groundworks, earthworks, utilities and concrete.

The contractor is able to offer the candidate the opportunity to work on multi-million sites and progress within the company.

 

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Report into Senior Site Management
  • Be the point of contact for technical queries
  • Check and be familiar with the Site Drawings & Specifications
  • Regularly carry out Setting Out and Surveying on site
  • Coordinate Direct and Sub-contractor staff through clear communication on the duties needing to be completed
  • Coordinate Plant & Machinery ensuring the equipment is appropriately used
  • Comply with the company’s standards regarding quality
  • Regularly complete site paperwork
  • Conduct Toolbox talks
  • Attend Health & Safety Briefings
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Ensure staff receive full site inductions
  • Comply with all Health and Safety policies
  • Assist in managing Traffic on and off site

 

Site Engineer Specification:

  • Civil Engineer Degree
  • 3 years plus experience
  • Setting Out and Surveying experience
  • Previous experience working with groundworks, earthworks, concrete and utilities
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Full driving licence
  • Strong numeracy and MS Office skills
