Site Engineer – Norfolk
INFORM3 require a Site Engineer for a large civil and reinforced concrete project in Norfolk. The client is a Specialist Construction Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client is an experienced Site Engineer to set out the project and have previous experience working with bridges, reinforced concrete, utilities and groundworks.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise regularly with the Project Manager
- Set out the site out per the Site Drawings and Specification
- Supervise Direct and Sub-Contractor staff ensuring to communicate effectively to site staff
- Coordinate and control Plant, Machinery and Materials
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Adhere to Quality Standards
- Coordinate Toolbox talks
- Attend Health & Safety briefings
- Maintain the site diary and complete site paperwork
- Complete site inductions
- Attend Site Meetings discussing any technical issues
- Assist in emergency situations
- Assist in controlling traffic on site
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 3 years plus experience
- Setting Out knowledge and experience
- Experience working with reinforced concrete, utilities and bridges
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Confident in using MS Office
- Excellent Communicator
- Full driving licence
