Site Engineer – Kildare & Wicklow
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Engineer to complete civils works on residential projects in Kildare and Wicklow. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client has a position for a Site Engineer that has the ability to communicate confidently with site management and able to organise teams on site.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Site Management team
- Complete setting out as per site drawings and specifications
- Coordinate site staff and sub-contractors through effective communication
- Coordinate and control plant and materials on site
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Adhere to Quality Standards
- Handle technical requirements
- Assist in emergency situations
- Maintain the site diary
- Attend Site Meetings
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Coordinate Traffic on site
- Produce reports for Site Management
- Liaise with Consultancies / Clients when appropriate
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 2 years plus experience
- Setting Out experience
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Strong numeracy and confident in using MS Office
- Extremely organised
- Full driving licence
