Site Engineer – Dublin

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Site Engineer to complete civils works in the Dublin area. The client is a widely recognised Civil Engineering Contractor that has a number of live projects and is seeking to expand upon their current team.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.

 

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Site Management
  • Check Site Specifications and Site Drawings
  • Regularly complete Setting out duties
  • Coordinate Direct Staff and Sub-Contractors through effective communication
  • Assist in planning and managing Plant, Equipment and Machinery
  • Order in materials on a regular basis ensuring there is sufficient stock to complete the project
  • Understand and be familiar of Health & Safety regulations ensuring to abide by them
  • Comply with the company’s policy regarding quality
  • Be the point of contact for any technical queries
  • Maintain the site diary
  • Complete Toolbox talks
  • Complete Site Inductions
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Attend Health & Safety briefings
  • Assist in emergency situations
  • Liaise with the Public / Consultancies / Clients when needed

 

Site Engineer Specification:

  • Civil Engineer Degree
  • 1-3 years plus experience
  • Setting Out experience
  • Experience working with groundworks, utilities, earthworks, roads etc
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Driven and Ambitious
  • Full driving licence
