Job Title –Site Engineer
Project – Residential Project
Job Location – Kilkenny
Salary – €50K-€60K
About the Company
Exciting opportunity to work on an interesting project with a fast-growing contractor who work in residential, commercial, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The successful candidate with start on a residential project in Kilkenny. This is a permanent role with the contractor.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Supervise works.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering role.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
