Site Engineer – Belfast
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a number of civil projects in Belfast. The client is one of the leaders within the construction industry in Northern Ireland and has experienced year on year growth. The successful candidate joining the team must have a strong civils background, able to set out and work towards specific requirements.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Regularly report into the Project Manager
- Read over and be familar Site Drawings and Specifications
- Set out the site on a daily basis
- Supervise direct and sub-contractor site staff, assisting with technical and structural matters
- Assist in managing plant and materials on site
- Be aware of the company’s policies regarding quality and ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Maintain the site diary and paperwork
- Carryout Toolbox talks and Site Inductions
- Order materials when needed
- Be present for site meetings providing updates
- Liaise with clients / consultants / public when needed
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1-3 years plus experience
- Setting Out experience
- Self-Starter and able to work independently
- Highly motivated and driven to progress
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Package
- Experience working with concrete, groundworks, ducting etc
- Full driving licence
