Site Engineer – Limerick
INFORM3 are recruiting for a Site Engineer to complete civil works on a variety of projects in Limerick. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client has a position for a Site Engineer that has the ability to communicate confidently with site management and able to organise teams on site.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Site Management Team
- Read site drawings and specifications
- Set out the site accurately
- Ensure sub-contractors, labourers and site staff are managed through effective communication and coordination
- Coordinate and control plant and material on site
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Order in materials
- Maintain the site diary
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies
- Manage traffic on site
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 2 years plus experience
- Setting Out experience
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
