Job Title – Site Engineer
Job Location – Kildare
Salary - €50000 - €55,000
About the Company
One of Irelands busiest construction company working in all sectors such as Education, Commercial, Residential and hospitality. They work on projects up to €30M. They are recruiting for a Site Engineer for Kildare to work on an education project. There could be accommodation provided if needs be and a living away allowance for the successful individual. Plenty of work in the pipeline as well as after handover.
The Role
- Reporting to SM / PM
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Inspect facilities and analyse operational data
- liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Be responsible for all the engineering aspects and surveying on the site.
- Able to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
- Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
- Maintain good working relationship with the Site Manager
- Co-ordinate subcontractors work
Requirements
- 3+ Yrs experience essential
- Setting out experience is essential with use of various equipment including GPS and total station etc
- 3rd level qualification in relevant field, or equivalent
- Site Management Experience
- Computer literate
- Full understanding of design drawings
- Clean driving licence
- Full Safety Qualifications
