Site Engineer – Derry / Londonderry
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer for civil projects in Derry / Londonderry & Donegal. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client that has a strong belief and focus in completing projects within the given timeframe and to the highest standard. The successful candidate will have a Civil Engineering Degree, previous experience setting out and supervising site works.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Manager
- Regularly review Site Specifications and Drawings
- Set out the site with great accuracy
- Assist in manging labourers and onsite staff
- Assist in the management of plant, materials and equipment
- Respect and value Health and Safety procedures, ensure staff comply with current regulations
- Understanding the company’s policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Maintain an accurate site diary
- Conduct regular toolbox talks
- Ensure all site staff receive site inductions
- Attend Site Meetings contributing when appropriate to topics relating to structure
- Assist in managing traffic on site
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1 - 3 years plus experience
- Experience in setting out and supervising site works
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office
- Setting out knowledge
- Driven and motivated
- Full driving licence
