Site Engineer – Carlow
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer to work on a civils project in Carlow. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that has vast experience and knowledge within the construction industry and is seeking to expand their team. The client is seeking a Site Engineer with experience in setting out, supervising site works and a great desire to progress within the company.
The client is able to provide accommodation to the successful candidate.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Project Manager
- Read and review site specifications and drawings
- Set out the site accurately and effectively
- Assist in managing various site teams through effective communication
- Manage plant, machinery and equipment on site
- Order in materials when necessary
- Adhere to the company’s regulations regarding quality of workmanship
- Adhere to Health & Safety at all times
- Maintain an accurate site diary and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety Briefings
- Complete staff site inductions
- Attend site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Assist in managing traffic on site
- Provide reports to the Project Manager
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 6 months’ plus relevant experience
- Setting Out experience
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Excellent communicator
- Full driving licence
