Site Engineer – UK
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer for a large civil project in the UK on behalf of a Northern Irish Contractor. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client has a position for a Site Engineer who will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.
The client can provide flights and accommodation to the successful candidate.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Project Manager
- Regularly review site drawings and specifications
- Set out the site accordingly
- Assist in coordinating the various site teams
- Coordinate and control plant, machinery and materials on site
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Maintain an accurate site diary
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies
- Liaise with Clients / Consultancies / Public when appropriate
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1 years plus experience
- Highly organised and motivated
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Full driving licence
