Site Engineer – NI with travel to the UK
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer for utility projects in County Down & Antrim with some travel to the UK. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client who is a specialist in the Civil Engineering industry with a vast amount of experience and knowledge.
The client requires a candidate that has a Civil Engineering Degree and is confident in setting out.
The successful candidate must be flexible in travel.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Manager
- Review site specifications and drawings
- Set out the site accurately
- Coordinate Site teams
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials
- Ensure site work is completed to a high standard
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Maintain an accurate Site Diary and Paperwork
- Coordinate Toolbox talks
- Carryout Site Inductions
- Attend Site Meetings
- Assist in emergency situations
- Liaise with the Client / Consultancies / Public when appropriate
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 2-3 years plus experience in a similar role
- Setting out knowledge
- Experience in working with civil projects specifically utilities
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Strong Numeracy skills
- Full driving licence
