Site Engineer – NI
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer for groundwork projects across NI. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client who is a specialist in the Civil Engineering industry and is growing rapidly due to continued demand for their services.
The client requires a candidate that has a Civil Engineering Degree, previous experience working in the construction industry and is able to work off their own initiative.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Manager
- Read site specifications and drawings
- Set out the site accurately
- Coordinate various site teams and liaise with other contractors
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials when needed
- Ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Regularly complete the site diary and paperwork
- Coordinate Toolbox talks and Site Inductions
- Attend Site Meetings discussing any technical or structural issues
- Assist in emergency situations
- Liaise with the Client / Consultancies / Public when appropriate
- Provide reports to Management
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 2-3 years plus experience in a similar role
- Setting out knowledge
- Experience in working with civil projects specifically groundworks
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Strong Numeracy skills
- Full driving licence
