Site Engineer – Dublin City Centre
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site Engineer to complete civil packages on commercial projects in Dublin City Centre. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client requires an experienced Site Engineer who has a great depth of knowledge with civil works and experience setting out.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Coordinate with contractors, and various site teams
- Regularly review Site Drawings and Specifications, setting out the site accordingly
- Coordinate and control plant, equipment and materials on site
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Liaise with Consultancies / Clients / Public
- Keep up to date site diaries and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies
- Assist in managing traffic on site
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 2 years or more relevant experience
- Setting Out experience
- Able to work off own initiative
- Highly organised and motivated
- Strong numeracy skills
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
