Site Engineer – Northern Ireland
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Site Engineer for a variety of civil projects including roads and highways across Northern Ireland. The client has over 25 years’ experience in Civil Engineering and widely known throughout the construction industry. Due to demand for their services, they require a Site Engineer who is experienced in setting out, supervising site works and producing high quality work.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Regularly report into Project Manager
- Review the site drawings and specifications
- Complete daily setting out
- Supervise and coordinate various site teams
- Plan and Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials, ensuring there is sufficient stock for the project
- Adhere to health & safety regulations and ensure all site members are health & safety concise
- Maintain an accurate site diary and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks
- Complete site inductions when appropriate
- Be part of regular site meetings with the wider site team
- Liaise with the public / consultancies / clients when appropriate
- Provide reports to the Project Manager
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1-2 years plus experience in a similar role
- Highly organised and motivated
- Self-start, confident in working independently
- Setting out knowledge and experience
- Full driving licence
