Site Engineer – Birmingham
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to work on a number of road, industrial and large earthwork projects in Birmingham. The successful candidate will join an expanding Civils Contractor with over 20 years of experience and knowledge.
The client requires the candidate to have experience in setting out, supervising site works and working towards targets and deadlines.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Regularly report into the Project Manager
- Review Site Drawings and Specifications
- Set out the site with great precision
- Supervise site teams, provide technical and structural support
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Ensure all site works is completed to the company’s quality standards
- Assist in coordinating Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials, ensuring a sufficient stock
- Maintain an up-to-date site diary and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox talks and Site Inductions
- Attend Site Meetings
- Liaise with the Client when appropriate
- Provide progress reports to the Project Manager
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
- 1 years’ plus experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Setting out experience and knowledge
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
