Salary – €45K - €55K + travel
About the Company
Experienced Site Engineer required for an exciting new housing development that’s about to kick off in Tipperary! Our client is a very busy Developer based in the West who have residential developments across Ireland!
This particular project is for a Social Housing Development that will be up to 400 units once completed so there is long term work in Tip for the right candidate with a company who has a ‘promote from within’ attitude!
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
- Attend inductions and training days as required by the company.
- Support the Project Manager/ Site Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering role with a building or civils contractor.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination and using a total station.
- Strong attention to detail.
