Job Title: Site Engineer
Job Location: Cork
Sector: Residential
Salary: €50,000 - €65,000 DOE
The Role
- Operate in a support capacity to the Site Manager
- Review and ensure all design documents so they are in line with project specifications
- Ensure all drawings and quantities are in line with project calculations
- Set out using GPS
- Liaise with all stakeholders, from client, architect, consultants, subcontractors, site management and workforce on site
- Attend regular client meetings and providing progress reports
- Effectively plan and co-ordinate works to be carried out on site
- Ensure H&S is of high standard
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Make sure quality of work on site meets the desired spec
- Plan work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met
Job Requirements
- Min Experience: 2 years in the role
- Experience planning and co-ordinating work to be carried out on site
- Experience with QC and H&S an advantage
- Third level qualification relevant to construction, or a relevant trade qualification will be a distinct advantage.
- Full driving licence.
