Inform3 are recruiting a site engineer for a busy main contractor in the midlands and south-east on multiple projects between Kilkenny, Laois and Offaly. Projects valued up to €35m in value.
Job Title: Site Engineer
Job Location: Kilkenny
Sector: Residential, Commercial and Healthcare
Salary: €45,000 - €55,000
The Role
- Responsible for supporting the management team with day to day running of the site.
- Liaising with consultants/sub-contractors/quantity surveyors and general workforce.
- As an engineer you will be responsible for setting out and levelling of site.
- Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Attend regular site meetings with project team.
- Handle technical queries when necessary.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure for services on residential, commercial and healthcare projects.
- Maintain weekly works progress reports.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ engineering experience on site - setting out and surveying.
- Must be confident in supervising site works.
- Possess the ability to work to targets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, also a good knowledge of Excel/word and knowledge of Micro Survey Cad an advantage.
