Job Title –Site Engineer
Project – €60M + New Build Development
Job Location – Cork City
Salary – €45K - €55K + package
About the Company
New opportunity to work with a Top Tier Main Contractor on a new commercial RC Frame project in the city.
The project has a 2-year programme but future work in Cork means this is a permanent role within a well-established company.
The successful applicant will get the opportunity to progress in to site management down the line and the company will provide assistance with any professional development.

The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project and checking that works are completed as per drawings.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Site Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Work with design team and architects to quickly and efficiently overcome any technical issues that may arise during the construction stage
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Update the site diary and assist with QA/QC inspections.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in ROI.
- Experience in RC Frame works is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
