Job Title – Site Engineer
Project – Residential
Job Location – Tipperary
Salary – €45,000 - €60,000 + vehicle
About the Company
A fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable Main Contractor on a new commercial project starting in Tipperary. Project values range from €5M to €50M and include a wide range of commercial, industrial and healthcare projects.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience working with a Main Contractor in Ireland and ideally some residential experience.
Given the nature of this project – social housing – applicants must also have experience dealing with local authorities.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project to ensure that information shared is accurate and tasks are being carried out according to drawings.
- Liaising with Local Authorities
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Attend daily and or weekly meetings as instructed by management.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience with a Contractor in Ireland
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Confident in your ability to work alongside other trades and ensure that accurate information is being shared.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
