Inform3 Recruitment are hiring for a main contractor who are currently active on a long-term housing development consisting of 100+ units in County Louth.
Foundations have just been completed with the remainder of the project set to last a further two years. Constant pipeline of projects in Louth on offer to the right individual.
The candidate will be required to set out and will work closely with the Site Foreman and Director.
Job Title: Site Engineer
Job Location: Louth
Sector: Residential
Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 D.O.E.
The Role
- Operate in a support capacity to the Director and Site Foreman/Manager
- Review and ensure all design documents so they are in line with project specifications
- Ensure all drawings and quantities are in line with project calculations
- Set out
- Liaising with all stakeholders, from client, architect, consultants, subcontractors, site management and workforce on site
- Attend regular client meetings and provide progress reports
- Effectively plan and co-ordinate works to be carried out on site
- Ensure H&S is of high standard
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties as well as any other problems that may arise
- Make sure quality of work on site meets the desired spec
- Plan work efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
Job Requirements
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in a setting out role
- Residential experience an advantage
- Experience planning and co-ordinating work to be carried out on site
- Experience with QC and H&S an advantage
- Third level qualification relevant to construction, or a relevant trade qualification will be a distinct advantage.
- Full driving licence.
