Inform3 Recruitment are hiring for a main contractor who are seeking a Site Engineer in Kilkenny. The project in question is a long-term housing development comprising 100+ units.
Foundations recently complete with the remainder of the project set to last a further two years. Contractor has a strong order book in the County.
As an engineer you will be setting out and working closely with the Site Foreman and Director.
Job Title: Site Engineer

Sector: Residential (Houses & Apartments)
Salary: €45,000 - €70,000 D.O.E.
The Role
- Responsible for supporting the management team with day to day running of the site.
- Liaising with consultants/sub-contractors/quantity surveyors and general workforce.
- As an engineer you will be responsible for setting out and levelling of site.
- Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Attend regular site meetings with project team.
- Handle technical queries when necessary.
- Maintain weekly works progress reports.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field (can be graduate level).
- Setting out and surveying experience preferred.
- Confident in supervising site works.
- Residential Construction experience an advantage
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, also a good knowledge of Excel/word and knowledge of Micro Survey Cad an advantage.
