Job Title – Site Engineer
Project – New Build Residential & Commercial
Job Location – Co Mayo
Salary – €45K - €60K + package
*Salary negotiable depending on Experience*
About the Company
New opportunity to work with a very busy and reputable Main Contractor in the West on a new build residential developments, commercial projects and refurbishments.
My client has a number of live sites on in the west ranging in value from €50K - €15M with more work to commence later this year.
They require a confident engineer to assist with setting out and some site supervision, who is ambitious to move in to a senior engineer role in the near future.
Their sites are all within 1 hour from company office.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Site Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Work with design team and architects to quickly and efficiently overcome any technical issues that may arise during the construction stage
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in ROI.
- RC Frame experience is essential.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
