Site Engineer – Donegal


INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, for road projects based in Donegal. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client who is well experienced within the construction industry and has a specialist in roads’ projects. The successful candidate needs to be a good communicator and have the ability to coordinate with site management and the client when appropriate. They will be required to undertake site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.



Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Senior Management, as the Site Engineer you are responsible for overseeing structure activity and staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures throughout.
  • Management of site teams
  • Management and control of plant and equipment
  • Management and control of health and safety issues
  • Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
  • Keeping up to date site diaries and paperwork
  • Conducting Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
  • Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
  • Ensure competence of staff
  • Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
  • To undertake any other duties as allocated



Candidate Specification:

  • Civil Engineer background
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar project
  • Experience in roads projects
  • Excellent organisational communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Full driving licence
  • Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
