Site Engineer – Northern Ireland
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, completing concrete frame projects for a Northern Irish Contractor with work in Scotland. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with an extensive amount of experience and knowledge in the concrete frame and civil engineering industry. It is vital that the successful candidate has specialisation in groundworks, reinforced concrete frames and civil engineering.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Management regularly on all site activities
- Assist in manging and leading the site team, ensuring that they are motivated to complete the project to an extremely high standard
- Assist in the management and coordination of materials and plant
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings
- Find solutions to any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Coordinate quality inspections
- Keep up to date site diaries and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
- Ensure competence of staff
- Hold and attend regular review meetings with the wider team
Candidate Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 3-4 years plus experience
- Experience in concrete frame, precast and groundworks
- Excellent organisational communication skills
- Self-starter that has the ability to work independently
- Full driving licence
- Setting out knowledge
