Site Engineer – Kildare
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a civils project based in Kildare. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with more than 20 years in the Civil Engineering Industry. The client has an extremely skilled team with fantastic knowledge and seeking an experienced Site Engineer to add to their team. The successful candidate will be required to be experienced in surveying, setting out and supervising site works. The candidate will need to be a confident and organised individual, and able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Management
- Regularly check specifications and drawings and ensure they are matching to site
- Manage labourers and onsite staff
- Manage plant, materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance from site staff on Health and Safety procedures
- Comply with the company’s policies and assist in the implementation of the procedures throughout site
- Maintain relevant paperwork and site dairies
- Coordinate Toolbox Talks
- Complete staff site inductions
- Attend and be part of meetings and reviews with the site team
- To undertake any other duties as allocated
Candidate Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 5 years’ plus experience in a similar position
- Experience in working with groundworks, utilities, drainage etc
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office
- Setting out knowledge
- Full driving licence
