Site Engineer – Monaghan

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a civils and building project based in Monaghan. The successful candidate will be provided with long-term work in both the North and South of Ireland with a Building and Civil Engineering Contractor who has a number of large projects. The successful candidate will need to be experienced in surveying, setting out and supervising site works. The candidate will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to work as part of a team and independently.

 

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Report to Senior Management regularly
  • Check specifications and drawings match with the site works
  • Assist in the management of labourers and onsite staff
  • Assist in manging plant, materials and equipment
  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, ensure staff comply with current regulations
  • Understanding the company’s policies with regard to quality
  • Manage the site diaries and paperwork, ensuring they are maintained
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks
  • Ensuring all staff receive site inductions
  • Ensure competence of staff
  • Attend regular review/updating meetings
  • To undertake any other duties as allocated

 

 

Candidate Specification:

  • Civil Engineer background
  • 1 years’ plus experience in a similar position
  • Experience in working on civil and building projects
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Experienced on MS Office
  • Setting out knowledge
  • Commercial awareness
  • Full driving licence
