Site Engineer – Northern Ireland
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, for utility projects based in Northern Ireland and Scotland. The successful candidate will work for a Civil Engineering Contractor with over 30 years in the industry winning multiple awards for previous projects both in Northern Ireland and the UK. The candidate will need to have experience in setting out, working on utilities, drainage, groundworks, roads etc
The candidate will need to be flexible in travelling between Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Regularly liaise with the Site Management Team
- Complete daily setting out
- Regularly check site plans and specifications
- Ensure site team is managed effectively and is informed of duties
- Assist in managing plant, materials and equipment on site
- Ensure company policies on Health and Safety, and Quality are adhered too at all times
- Maintain the site dairy and relevant paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox talks
- Ensure staff receive full site inductions
- Attend site meetings and contribute when appropriate to any issues arising on site and how best to amend them
- Complete any other duties as and when required
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1 years’ plus experience
- Setting Out experience
- Experience in utility projects
- Ability to work off their own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Strong numeracy skills and confindent in using MS Office
- Full driving licence
