Site Engineer – England
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a Northern Irish Contractor on projects based in England. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client who is a specialist in the Civil Engineering and Building industry with a vast amount of experience and knowledge.
The client requires a candidate that is a self-starter and be innovative in their approach to the project. The successful candidate will be required to complete some surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Management
- Complete setting out and surveying of the site
- Manage and coordinate the site team
- Management and control of plant and equipment
- Management and control of health and safety issues
- Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings and ensure they are matched on site
- Maintain the site diary
- Coordinate Toolbox talks
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Ensure competence of staff
- Attend site meetings
- To undertake any other duties as allocated
Candidate Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 2 plus years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong IT skills including MS Word and Excel
- Setting out knowledge
- Full driving licence
