Site Engineer – Dublin
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a large utility project based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with more than 45 years in the Civil Engineering Industry. The client has a strong belief and focus in completing projects within the given timeframe and to a perfect standard. The successful candidate will be required to be experienced in surveying, setting out and supervising site works. The candidate will need to be a confident and organised individual, and able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Management
- Complete setting out and surveying
- Ensure specifications and drawings are read and materialise on site
- Assist in manging labourers and onsite staff
- Assist in the management of plant, materials and equipment
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, ensure compliance of site staff also
- Understanding the company’s policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented
- Keep up to date site diaries and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks
- Ensuring all staff receive site inductions
- Attend regular review/update meetings with the wider team
- To undertake any other duties as allocated
Candidate Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 2 years’ plus experience in a similar position
- Experience in working with utilities, groundworks, earthworks, drainage etc
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office
- Setting out and surveying knowledge
- Full driving licence
