Job Title – Site Engineer
Job Location – Cork City
Salary - €45k - €55k
About the Company
Operating in Munster, this main contractor has been going well over 20 years. They maintain a good reputation of customer service and satisfaction on projects in various sectors. They would work on projects ranging up to €3M - €4M.
The Role
- Report to Site Manager / Senior Engineer
- liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Able to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
- Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
- Maintain good working relationship with the Site Manager
- Co-ordinate subcontractors work
- Receive excellent training and development
- Opportunity to excel and progress to more senior role after proving yourself
Requirements
- Degree qualified Engineer
- 5+ years experience (preferably with a main contractor)
- Strong Setting Out/Levels experience
- Reinforced concrete works experience
- Building experience - Commercial/Industrial/Educational
- Knowledge of BIM an advantage
