About the Company
Main contractor from Northern Ireland, specialising in building, civils and fit out are on the lookout for a site engineer to join their team on site. This contractor works all over Ireland and the UK, building large commercial projects in all sectors such as education and healthcare. Excellent Projects to add to your CV for the successful individual
The Role
• Reporting to Site Manager / Senior Engineer
• Levelling the site and setting out using Robotic total stations
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
• liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
• Able to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site
• Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
• Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
• Excellent company to grow and learn from.
Requirements
• Setting out experience is essential with use of various equipment including GPS and total station etc
• Main contractor experience preferred but not essential
• 3rd level qualification in relevant field, or equivalent
• Computer literate
• Full understanding of design drawings
• Clean driving licence
• Full Safety Qualifications
• A can-do attitude
