Site Engineers – Dublin & South-East Leinster
INFORM3 are recruiting for a number of Site Engineers to work on windfarms, substations and industrial projects throughout Dublin and South-East Leinster. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The client requires the successful candidates to have previous experience setting out and supervising site works.
The Contractor has a number of live projects and is able to offer excellent career progression.
Site Engineers Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Review Site Drawings & Specifications
- Set out the site accurately
- Ensure sub-contractors, labourers and site staff are managed through effective communication and coordination
- Coordinate and control plant and material on site
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality
- Complete the site diary and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies
- Assist in managing traffic on and off site
- Provide progress reports to the Project Manager
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
- 1-3 years plus experience
- Setting Out experience
- Able to work within a team
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Previous experience working on civil projects including wind farms, data centres, industrial units etc.
- Full driving licence
