Site Engineers – Kildare
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Engineers, for utility projects in Kildare and Wicklow. The successful candidates will work on behalf of a client with more than 20 years in the Civil Engineering Industry. The client has a strong belief and focus in completing projects within the given timeframe and to a perfect standard. The successful candidate will be required to be experienced in surveying, setting out and supervising site works.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to Senior Management
- Complete daily setting out and surveying
- Coordinate and motivate Junior Engineers and the Site Team
- Ensure specifications and drawings are read and materialise on site
- Manage labourers and onsite staff
- Manage plant, materials and equipment
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, ensure staff comply with procedures also
- Adhere to high levels of quality on all aspects of work
- Maintain the site dairies
- Conduct daily Toolbox talks
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Ensure competence of staff
- Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
- To undertake any other duties as allocated
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 3 years’ plus experience in a similar position
- Experience in working with utilities, groundworks, earthworks etc
- Strong numeracy and Microsoft Office skills
- Setting Out and Surveying knowledge
- Full driving licence
