Site Foreman – Galway

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Foreman, for road projects based in Galway and Offaly. The client is a well-respected and highly knowledgeable civil engineering contractor with well over 25 years’ experience in the industry.

The client is seeking a Site Foreman that can ensure the project is effectively planned and delivered within the given timeframe. The Foreman will need to be experienced in working with Bridges, Roads, Groundworks, Earthworks, Utilities etc

 

Site Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Project / Contracts Manager on a regular basis
  • Coordinate work plans for the Site Teams, ensuring site works are completed within the given time frame and to a high quality
  • Manage and lead the Site Team
  • Manage and coordinate Plant and Machinery on site
  • Ensure Plant checks are carried out, making sure they are fit for site use
  • Complete the site diary and site paperwork
  • Complete Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Monitor the progress of your work against the programme of works
  • Deliver toolbox talks and health and safety briefings
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered too and company policies are followed
  • Complete any other duties as and when required

 

Site Foreman Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Civil Background
  • 5 + years’ experience as Civils Foreman
  • Experience in managing site teams
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Excellent communicator and able to work within a team effectively
  • Full Driving License
