Site Foreman – Dublin

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Foreman, for civils work on housing projects in West Dublin. The client is a well-respected and highly knowledgeable Civil Engineering Contractor with a number of years in the construction industry. The client has noticed over the last number of months a great demand for their services and is seeking to expand their team with an experienced Site Foreman.

The successful candidate will need to have previous history on supervising site teams on civil projects involving groundworks, foundations, roads, utilities, earthworks and hard & soft landscaping.

 

Site Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Project / Contracts Manager on a regular basis
  • Schedule site works as per the Project Plan
  • Liaise regularly with direct and sub-contractor teams ensuring they are clear on their daily tasks
  • Effectively manage all Plant and Machinery on site ensuring
  • Complete weekly Plant and Machinery checks
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Site Teams
  • Conduct toolbox talks
  • Adhere to Health & Safety on site and ensure other site members are also
  • Motivate the Site Teams to ensure the project will reach targets and deadlines
  • Liaise with the Public when necessary
  • Control Traffic on and off site

 

Site Foreman Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Site Foreman / Construction Manager Background
  • Civils background
  • 5 + years’ experience in a similar position
  • Experience in managing site teams
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to multi-task effectively
  • Full Driving License
