INFORM3 Construction Recruitment is keen to speak with Site Foreman for residential project in Cork

Job Title – Site Foreman

Job Location – Cork

Salary - €60,000 - €70,000

Project – Apartments

About the Company

Main building contractor based in Cork and has offices in Mainland UK as well. They would focus on projects from €1M - €25M. They would work on projects such as pharmaceutical, residential (housing and apartments) and large commercial
 

The Role

• Liaise with Site Management
• Able to take the job out of the ground and see it to hand over
• Successful candidate that is on the site full time working the job.
• Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
• Ensure completion dates are met
• Will have good attention to detail and be able to work under pressure to achieve strict deadlines
• Will be safety conscious
• Take control of all works from house foundations through to 1st & 2nd fix including external finishes, paving, boundary walls and landscaping
• Ensuring quality of works

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Qualification (e.g. Carpentry) is desirable
• Background in commercial projects
• Proven record of seeing projects through from start to finish
• Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
• Excellent working knowledge and track record of managing utilities
• An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
• To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.
• The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/project
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
