Site Foreman – Northern Ireland

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Site Foreman for a number of groundworks projects in Belfast. The Site Foreman will work for a specialist Construction Contractor with an abundance of knowledge and expertise. The Client is well known throughout Northern Ireland for the value in placing the highest respect for Health and Safety, Quality and Hard work on each of their projects.

The successful candidate will be required to manage site teams, ensure the project is on schedule and completed to a very high standard.

 

Site Foreman Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Senior Management Team
  • Manage Site activities
  • Manage and coordinate direct and sub-contractor staff
  • Check Plant and Machinery is fit for purpose and coordinate their activity
  • Order in materials when necessary, ensuring the site has sufficient stock to complete the project
  • Ensure each site is a safe place of work that complies with current legislation.
  • To assist with providing information for completion of daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Ensure all staff comply with Health & Safety and Quality regulations
  • Coordinate Site Meetings
  • Ensure Toolbox talks and Site Inductions are carried out
  • Attend Meetings with Senior Management and Sub-Contractors
  • Control Traffic on site
  • Liaise when necessary, with the Public and the Client

 

Site Foreman Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Background
  • 5 years plus experience
  • Experience in coordinating site teams
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Excellent communicator and fantastic organisation skills
  • Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential
  • Full Driving License
