Job Title: Site Foreman

Salary: €55k - €65k with package

About the Company

Main building contractor based in Cork are looking for an experienced foreman to join their team. Their projects range from extensions, reburb work and 1 off house builds to multi-million-euro new builds. The ideal candidate will have a trades background. Project will be commencing shortly and will be mainly refurb work lasting 9-10 months.

The Role

• Managing day to day running of construction site
• Working in a multi-functionary team environment
• Ensuring that all work follows safety procedures
• Communicating with the Managing and Contracts Directors
• Attending meetings on a weekly basis
• Keeping track of manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping making note of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of equipment on site
• Maintaining quality control checks

Job Requirements

• Professional/Trade qualification in Carpentry
• 3+ years’ experience in construction industry is essential.
• Excellent communication, planning, leadership & attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Experience with a main contractor preferable.
