Site Foreman - Down

INFORM3 Construction Recruitment are on the lookout for Site Foremen for refurb projects on behalf of a medium sized building contractor involved in several sectors and projects such as social housing, commercial works, office blocks and government works. They carry out works up to £8M.

Job Title                       Site Engineer

Job Location                Newry / ROI travel

Salary                          £35k - £40k

The Role

• Working Foreman duties
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Site Management
• Carpentry background
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
