Site Foreman - Limerick

Inform3 are recruiting for a progressive tier 2 award-winning general building contractor and civil engineering company with over 25 years’ experience in Ireland and the UK and an annual turnover of €70m. With experience in sectors such as residential, education, healthcare, hotels & leisure, commercial their experience is wide-ranging. Would frequently work on projects of €5m-€12m. This particular project is social housing.

Job Title: Site Foreman

Job Location: Limerick

Sector: Residential (Public Works)

Salary: €55k - €60k

The Role

• Manage day-to-day running of the site
• Supervise and coordinate staff, subcontractors, material suppliers and utility providers to ensure efficiency and quality work onsite
• Comply with all company policies – Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental
• Liaise directly with our purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of all plant and materials to site
• Lead and motivate teams to produce work that meets standards
• Monitoring team performance and address concerns as appropriate
• Provide regular, detailed, up-to-date progress reports

Job Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum 5 years’ experience on Public Works contracts
• Residential construction experience.
• Demonstrable experience of previous site management
• Self-motivated with the ability to engage and motivate a workforce
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk in detail about the progress against scheduled work
• Experience of dealing with clients, giving advice and resolving queries
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety, Building Regulations
