Site Foreman – Derry / Londonderry

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Foreman, for projects based mainly in Derry / Londonderry. The client is well respected and highly knowable civil engineering contractor with need for a Site Foreman with experience in ground and general civil works.  It is vital that the successful candidate must ensure that the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client and his professional team with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget.

 

 

Site Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Project / Contracts Manager on a regular basis
  • Organise daily activities, work shifts, etc.
  • Capacity of coordination between the different activities performed by the employees and subcontractor
  • Complete work to the highest quality standard
  • Ordering and control of materials on site
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Monitor the progress of your work against the planned production goals.
  • Deliver regular tool box talk briefings to the site team
  • Ensure daily and weekly plant checks are carried out and all records are up to date.
  • Monitor sub contract works and ensure subcontract works are being delivered
  • Ensure Health & Safety is maintained at all times

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • CSR Card  
  • 5 + years’ experience as a foreman
  • General civils experience
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Experience in roads and utilities

 

The client is able to offer an attractive package that would include a company vehicle and fuel allowance.
