Job Title – Site Foreman

Project – Housing Project

Job Location – Belfast

Salary – £40K-£45K plus package

About the Company:

Our client who is a medium sized construction company on the lookout for a Site Foreman for their residential projects. There may well be multiple small projects at the one time for the successful individual to oversee.

This role is suitable for ambitious engineers or graduates who want to pursue a career in site management with a busy developer.

The Role:

• Report to and support the Senior Foreman/Senior Engineer.
• Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Liaise with design team and architects to report any issues or help the flow of information.
• Manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and report any issues to senior management in a prompt and timely manner.
• Order materials as required.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

Requirements:

• A recent Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.  
• Ideally will have completed a placement with a Main Contractor.
• 2-3 years’ experience of getting projects out of the ground.
• Joinery background experience.
• Experience in residential projects.
• Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
• Ambitious – keen to run your work projects in the near future.
• Excellent communications.
