Site Foreman - Cork

Inform3 Recruitment are seeking a Site Foreman for a housing development in Cork. This is with a local main contractor specialising in residential projects across Cork.

Project consists of 72 units (a mixture between apartments and timber-frame houses) due for completion in 18 months’ time. Currently at groundworks stage.

Job Title: Site Foreman

Job Location: Cork

Salary: €65k - €70k, vehicle & fuel

Sector: Residential

The Role

• Managing day to day running of construction site
• Liaising with the Project Manager and Director
• Working in a multi-functionary team environment
• Ensuring that all work follows safety procedures
• Attending meetings on a weekly basis
• Keeping track of manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping making note of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of equipment on site
• Maintaining quality control checks

Job Requirements

• Construction Management degree or anything of the same discipline preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in construction industry is essential.
• Excellent communication, planning, leadership & attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Residential experience required
• Full driving licence
